Hudson is 4 months & 1 week old. Some of his latest accomplishments: sucking his thumb, gripping toys with ease, bringing toys to his mouth, & talking and screeching non-stop. He’s starting to notice his feet, attempting to hold his bottle, and is fascinated with our cat Clover. He laughs a lot and loves songs and dancing, wakes up happy and talking, and loves his binky. He’s leaned out quite a bit, and it getting very long, wearing 9 month PJ’s just to fit his length. He is finally consistently nursing well. This month has posed challenges with sleeping both during naps and at night, something that up until recently came effortlessly to us. It’s a process, but it’s getting better. He likes to snuggle on occasion, but is usually to interested in exploring the work around him. He’s incredibly strong, passionate and very joyful.
Current nicknames: Screeches, Mr Bubbles, Mr Guy, Mr Chubs, Fuss-Butt.
Forgive the cheesiness, but I’ve come to a conclusion. People that don’t believe in love at first sight have not had a baby, because the moment I saw Hudson I was fully and overwhelmingly in love, and have fallen more in love everyday since.
Happy 4 months Hudson!

These are LONG overdue to be posted. Hudson will be 6 weeks tomorrow and I just finished up a shoot for his ’1 month’ photos. I seem to be on a 2 week late trend here. Oh well, maybe I’ll b better with his 2 month photos. ; )
I never knew my heart could love so much. The love I experience as a mother is beyond words. As I sit here and try to describe how I feel about him, how blessed I am to be his mommy and thankful for God’s timing, provision, health and constant strength I am overwhelmed. He truly is a wonderful baby, extremely easy going and fun, loads of personality and so incredibly strong. I’ve never been so proud, so happy, so tired, so stretched, or so in love as I am now.
(I meant to edit these but I just don’t have the time, so here we go SOC)
