You know what the biggest time killer is on a photo shoot? Outfit changes! Nothing drags things down more than having to find a place to change and getting put together all over again. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE lots of adorable outfits, I think they really make the shoot go from great to incredible! Today I’m going to share a basic tip that will allow you to achieve multiple looks, while making easy swaps in between that you can do in point 30 seconds flat. FLAT! In the end, this will get you more looks for your shoot!
So let me give you an idea of how to start with two solid pieces, and build multiple, effortless looks around that. First, you’re going to need some killer jeans. It’s important for them to fit really well, not so tight that you’re hanging over the sides, not so loose that it’s sagging at the butt. I am personally in love with Vigoss Jeans, and you can find them locally at your nearest Nordstroms. For a pair of jeans I wear throughout the week for years I’d say $54 is a small price to pay. Next, I’m going to send you back to Nordstroms for their perfect fitting Stretch Camisole. I have like 4 of these (wish I had a gazillion) and I nearly wear one everyday! I appreciate the lack of a built in bra because come on, I’m wearing one already, I don’t need a second one thank you very much! Seriously, I’ve never understood that.
Now you’re ready to move on to your x-factor, the piece that can be swapped out, along with some accessories like shoes, jewelry, scarfs, hats, what have you. As always have fun and express yourself! I threw together a bunch of tops and layer options to help you see what I mean, and as a means of pretending I was going to purchase all of these myself.
