Today’s Fashion Friday is about inspiration. I am always getting inspired, be it for how to decorate my home, recipes to try, poses to work on my next shoot, and new trends in fashion. Today I pulled two images from my clothing inspiration board and did my best to put together a similar looking outfit. If ever you’re unsure of what to wear I would encourage you to get inspired by others, see how they wear certain pieces, and start exploring by mimicking what they do. Before you know it you’ll be putting together your own unique outfits and people will be copying you!
For the first inspiration I absolutely love how unexpected pieces have been brought together to make a cohesive, stylish outfit. Typically you picture a blazer being worn with professional attire, but in this inspiration she’s rocking some rolled-up shorts, a stripped black and white tee and a chunky gold necklace with some short suede-like booties. LOVE IT!
Second is this darling feminine dress covered with a chunky gray sweater, and to our surprise red, yes RED knee-high socks! Who would think to do that…? And yet it’s soooo cute!
